Arattai App To Get End-to-End Encryption for Chats and All Other Services, Zoho Speeding Up: Sridhar Vembu
Zoho's Sridhar Vembu announced a major update coming to the Arattai app. He said that the company would soon introduce end-to-end encryption for chats, which is currently available only for call services. Sridhar Vembu mentioned that E2EE was scheduled for rollout in the Arattai app in October 2025; however, Zoho is speeding it up.
The Arattai app will soon get end-to-end encryption for all its services, not just calling. Sridhar Vembu confirmed that Zoho was working on the E2EE option for Arattai and said that its release was originally planned for October 2025. However, Zoho's founder mentioned that the company was speeding up the process. Additionally, Sridhar Vembu responded to a user who asked the platform not to become like Koo, especially given the surge in users. He said, "Yes, that is always the risk.
