That's It! England Women have snatched the game out of India's hands and they are in the semifinals! Nat Sciver-Brunt and her team is elated and they should be. India were cruising in the chase at one point but after Smriti Mandhana was dismissed, India collapsed just like England in the last innings. Some quality bowling from Sophie Ecclestone, Linsey Smith and Charlie Dean helped as well. India Women will be heartbroken and they have a tough fight in front of them now.

19 Oct, 22:06 (IST)

Out! Breakthrough for England Women and it is the big wicket of Deepti Sharma. It was important for her to stay till the end, but she faulters. Tries to slog sweep Sophie Ecclestone but doesn't get enough and the deep mid-wicket fielder runs in to take the catch. England are elated as they are now strongly into the game.  Deepti Sharma c Sophia Dunkley b Ecclestone 50(57).

19 Oct, 22:00 (IST)

Out! The game is edging towards a thriller. Richa Ghosh was the strongest bet for India to finish the game comfortably but she is now dismissed by Nat Sciver-Brunt. Looked to go inside out over covers but didn't get the elevation and Heather Knight completed an easy catch. India will have to be careful here. Richa Ghosh c Knight b Nat Sciver-Brunt 8(10).

19 Oct, 21:57 (IST)

Fifty! Deepti Sharma has backed up the half-centuries from Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur well as she has also scored a half-century and kept India in the chase. She has held one end and provided the platform for the others to come in and finish the job. She will want to finish the game for India.

19 Oct, 21:41 (IST)

Out! Well, well, well. Is their a twist in the tale? Difficult to say so for now but it was the same phase in the first innings when Heather Knight was dismissed and then England collapses. This time it is Smriti Mandhana, who finally committed an error. Tried to go aerial to Linsey Smith but didn't get enough to clear long off to took an easy catch in the end. England can make the opening big here. Mandhana c Capsey b Smith 88(94).

19 Oct, 21:35 (IST)

Despite Harmanpreet Kaur's dismissal, India have not allowed the momentum to slip away. They have kept chipping in the runs and building partnership through Smriti Mandhana, who is well set now and Deepti Sharma. Smriti and Deepti have taken India to a position where they can comfortably close out the game. England will want to make it as difficult as possible.

19 Oct, 20:57 (IST)

Out! Harmanpreet Kaur departs and the partnership is broken. It is Nat Sciver-Brunt who makes the opening in the Indian batting and now England will have to make it bigger. Outside off delivery, Harmanpreet Kaur looks to punch it but the ball takes the edge of her bat and flies to short third-man. There were doubts whether the catch was cleanly taken, but the Umpire was satisfied in the end.  Kaur c Lamb b Nat Sciver-Brunt 70(70).

19 Oct, 20:43 (IST)

Fifty! A welcoming one for Harmanpreet Kaur. She has struggled in the last four games and finally one could see the grit and focus from here as she plays a solid knock powering India ahead in the game. She has shown intent and at the same time rotated strike as well. She completes her first fifty in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 but she will know she has lot of work to do.

19 Oct, 20:33 (IST)

Fifty! Smriti Mandhana steps up the occasion once again. It wasn't her most aggressive innings but she kept the innings going by ticking the scoreboard and rotating strike at one end. She needed to take the innings deep and she has done exactly that and along that scored a half-century.

19 Oct, 20:13 (IST)

India made a solid recovery after the first ten overs. After Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana came together in the crease, they started to take on the English bowling attack and accumulated runs. They kept the scorecard ticking and Kaur, for the first time in the competition, showed enough intent for boundaries. This partnership has pushed England back and now they are in a tricky spot.

19 Oct, 19:35 (IST)

Out! England have struck right at the end of powerplay. Harleen Deol was looking to stitch a partnership with Smriti Mandhana but Charlie Dean gets one ball to turn away and hit Harleen on the pads in front of the wicket. Umpire gave it LBW and while Harleen wanted to take the DRS, she was out of time to signal. Although replay showed it wouldn't have mattered. Harleen Deol lbw b Charlie Dean 24(31).

19 Oct, 19:12 (IST)

Out! England strike quickly. Lauren Bell bowled short and wide off off, Pratika Rawal looks to dab it for a single but the shot was not full fledged and the ball took a nick off the bat to the hands of wicketkeeper Amy Jones. Pratika will be disappointed and so will be India. England elated. Pratika Rawal c Amy Jones b Bell 6(14).

19 Oct, 18:25 (IST)

That's It! The England Women innings ends but not the way they wanted it to be. They were going strong till Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt were out on the crease but once they were dismissed, the remainder of the England batters kept finding fielders. The innings lost all its momentum and the credit has to go to Deepti Sharma and Sree Charani, who showed solid death bowling. India will back themselves to chase this total down.

19 Oct, 18:18 (IST)

Out! Momentum is completely sucked out of the England innings and that resulted in the wicket of Emma Lamb. Desperately goes for the big shot eluding England and doesn't get enough to clear the deep fielder. Deepti Sharma strikes again and India have done a great job here. Lamb c Mandhana b Deepti Sharma 11(10).

19 Oct, 18:12 (IST)

Out! Another one bites the dust and England are suddenly in the freefall. They were cruising at one point but after the quick wickets of well-set Nat Sciver-Brunt and Heather Knight, they are losing their grip on the game. This time, Alice Capsey goes for the reverse sweep but doesn't get the best of it and the ball lobs to the hand of the mid-on fielder. India will want to strengthen their stranglehold. Capsey c Harleen Deol b Deepti Sharma 2(3).

19 Oct, 18:08 (IST)

Out! Two important wickets for India Women and they are pumped. This is an opportunity for them to pull back things. First, the well-set centurion Heather Knight departed as she got run out courtesy a brilliant throw from Amanjot Kaur. Then, Sree Charani forces Sophia Dunkley go inside out and get caught in long-off area. India will look to pull back things more. Knight run out (Amanjot Kaur/Richa Ghosh) 109(91) and Sophia Dunkley c Deepti Sharma b Shree Charani 15(21).

19 Oct, 17:55 (IST)

Century! It was coming all the way as Heather Knight has batted in this innings. She was on top of her game in most part of the competition and she stepped up in favourable batting conditions once again, bridging the England innings in the middle overs. She has kept the scorecard sticking and changed gears at time as well. She makes her 300th International match memorable with this century. England will be looking at a strong finish.

19 Oct, 17:41 (IST)

Out! The partnership breaks. Nat Sciver-Brunt was happy rotating strike so far but gets ambitious this time by attempting a big shot. Tries to go over covers but doesn't get the elevation. Harmanpreet Kaur takes a good catch and Sree Charani brings the crucial wicket for India. They will hope to suck out some momentum from the England innings now.  Nat Sciver-Brunt c Kaur b Shree Charani 38(49).

19 Oct, 17:36 (IST)

England have been moving really through the innings as they have put together a solid base to launch in the back end. Heather Knight has been orchestrating the innings and his nearing her century now. Nat Sciver-Brunt on the other end, have held the innings together. England are looking at a big total here.

19 Oct, 17:10 (IST)

After Amy Jones was dismissed, England had a steady platform and they had to build a partnership over it. Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt has done exactly that and they have kept the scorecard ticking with occasional boundaries. India has still not been able to control the middle overs.
