India Won By 302 Runs | IND vs SL Highlights of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: Mohammed Shami's Five-Wicket Haul Powers India to Dominating Victory

FIFTY for Shreyas Iyer! The right-hander has looked in red-hot form today and has surely dispelled all doubts about his position in the side. He came in at a time when two set batters were dismissed and has torn apart the Sri Lankan attack here. He is key to India getting 350 from here. 

OUT! Sri Lanka have another wicket and it is that man Dilshan Madushanka again, who has struck for a fourth time. He bowled a bouncer and Suryakumar Yadav looked to play a pull shot. FIFTY! Shubman Gill into the act now and the two batters are thoroughly enjoying the time out in the middle. Sri Lanka are desperately looking to break this stand, which is turning out to be a big one for India. 

FIFTY for Virat Kohli! Another day, another half-century for Virat Kohli! His good form continues in CWC 2023 and it has been a mighty fine knock after he dealt with the initial nervy start. 

So the runs have started to flow here for India and it has been a fine fine recovery after losing Rohit Sharma in the first over of the match. Both Kohli and Gill had missed out on big scores in the last match and now with such a start, they would look to make the most of this opportunity. 

Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill have stabilised India's innings after they lost Rohit Sharma early on. The two right-handers were given reprieves from the Sri Lankans and they have made the most of this. Now they look set and would eye a big score.
