NZ Win By 8 Wickets | New Zealand vs Pakistan 5th T20I 2025 Highlights: Tim Seifert, Jimmy Neesham Shine As Hosts Clinch Series 4-1

The final T20I of the five-match series, New Zealand completely dominated the encounter, winning the clash by eight wickets, where first Jimmy Neesham shone with the ball and then Tim Seifert blew Pakistan away with his outing with the bat. Neesham claimed his maiden five-wicket haul in T20Is as Pakistan managed just 128 runs, thanks to a fifty from Salman Agha, and 28 from Shadab Khan. Chasing 129, Seifert tore Pakistan's bowling apart, scoring an unbeaten 97 off 38, all while adding 93 runs with Finn Allen for the first wicket. Sufiyan Muqeem starred for Pakistan with the ball, claiming two wickets. This win ensured New Zealand clinched the five-T20I series 4-1, and will now feature in a three-match ODI series commencing March 29.

FIFTY! Tim Seifert finally manages to convert his start into a fifty. Seifert completes his 10th T20I half-century in 23 balls, which includes five fours and five sixes. Seifert has already added  83 with Finn Allen for the first wicket. 

This is what New Zealand needed: a flying start from Finn Allen and Tim Seifert. Once again, both New Zealand openers have taken a liken to pace bowling, and slammed boundaries at will, hitting cricketing shots, unlike Pakistan batters, who looked just wild slog. 

Tim Seifert and Finn Allen are out in the middle and will look to make this chase easy picking with Pakistan's bowling weakened with no Shaheen Shah Afridi. Pressure will be on the likes of Jahandad Khan, Sufiyan Muqeem, and Mohammad Ali to match Haris Rauf, who has been stellar in the series thus far. 

Pakistan's first innings has been all about two players, Salman Agha and James Neesham. Salman held Pakistan's innings together, scoring a brisk 51 off 39 as others around him failed. Shadab Khan scored 28 off 20. For New Zealand, James Neesham starred, claiming his maiden five-wicket haul in T20Is.

This could be a match-saving stand between Shadab Khan and Salman Agha. Shadab has been the aggressor in this partnership and has managed to already hit four fours.  Ish Sodhi was taken to the cleaners by Shadab in his final over. Meanwhile, Agha is nearing his second T20I fifty. 

Skipper Salman Agha is playing a captain's knock in the middle, with Pakistan losing wickets on the other hand. All-rounder Shadab Khan has walked in the middle and gotten off to a swift start, adding 14 runs to the partnership already.

Skipper Salman Agha has managed to score runs, which have ensured Pakistan crosses the fifty-run mark. Star from the last match, Abdul Samad, has a perfect chance to impress again and make a sizeable contribution alongside Agha.
