SRH Win By 42 Runs | RCB vs SRH Highlights of IPL 2025: Pat Cummins, Eshan Malinga's Death Bowling Help Sunrisers Hyderabad Secure Comfortable Victory

That's It. Solid win by Sunrisers Hyderabad. At the halfway mark it felt like Royal Challengers Bengaluru are ahead in the game but Pat Cummins returned to scalp the wicket of Phil Salt and since then RCB's innings went nowhere. Eshan Malinga and Pat Cummins bowled two solid overs to end all hopes for them. SRH are in a winning run now and will want to finish on a high. 

Out! The match ended well before but Pat Cummins made sure that he did finish up the game. Two wickets in the over and made sure Sunrisers Hyderabad get a strong finish by a big margin. Krunal Pandya hit wkt b Cummins 8(6) and Bhuvneshwar b Cummins 3(2).

Out! There goes the last hopes of RCB. Tim David was limping with an hamstring injury. He faced a really tough situation but it was difficult to get balance with one foot damaged. Tried his best but had to get holed out in the deep. Tim David c Klaasen b Eshan Malinga 1(5).

Out! Royal Challengers Bengaluru have fallen apart in a matter of 7 balls. First Rajat Patidar goes for a risky single and gets run out through a direct hit. Romario Shepherd comes in, gets beaten by change of pace and dip from Eshan Malinga and gets caught and bowled. Next over, Jaydev Unadkat comes in and scalps the wicket of Jitesh Sharma. Out! After taking down some of the not so good bowling, Pat Cummins returned to the attack and made sure Phil Salt went back to the pavilion. Bowled into the surface and Salt miscued the pull shot. Out! Not the best of starts for Mayank Agarwal. Tries to go hard but gets an outside edge which carries to the wicketkeeper. Meanwhile, Phil Salt on the other hand keeps Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the asking rate. Sunrisers Hyderabad need a wicket here. Mayank Agarawal c Kishan b Nitish Reddy 11(10).

Some fireworks from Phil Salt has Royal Challengers Bengaluru have got their nose ahead in the game despite a slow start from the same. Salt looked rusty in the start and teed off against spin after the powerplay. RCB will want him to stay a little longer and take them ahead of the asking rate. 

Out! Big wicket. Virat Kohli was looking a million dollars. Tries to hit inside out to Harsh Dubey. Makes room, the ball bounces just a bit more and Kohli miscues it to the hands of the backward point fielder inside the circle. Phil Salt was caught in the deep mid-wicket but he survives as the ball was an above waist-high fulltoss. Salt survived and Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite creating multiple opportunities are deprived of a wicket. Virat Kohli, meanwhile have found the gaps and the boundaries at ease. 

A comeback innings from Ishan Kishan here. Played a stupendous innings of 94 runs and the others kept chipping in and Kishan provided a strong finish to take the total to a big one. The pitch didn't look very good for batting but SRH batters did a good job. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will fancy such a testing chase ahead of the play-offs. 

Out! Royal Challengers Bengaluru keep chipping in wickets. Abhinav Manohar was looking for the big shot, Romario Shepherd goes into the wicket with a slower one and Manohar went for the pull shot. Didn't get the enough of it and Phil Salt at deep mid-wicket settled to take a good catch. It slipped initially but he got a hold of it in the end.  Abhinav Manohar c Phil Salt b Shepherd 12(11).

Finally back in form. The season has been frustrating for Ishan Kishan and the break looks like has worked for him. Got runs in the last match and in this game, he has played a solid knock scoring a crucial half-century. He will not want to stop here and put up a big score here. 

Out! While Ishan Kishan continues fighting at one end, Sunrisers Hyderabad batters play one shot too many and keep losing wickets. This time Aniket Verma, after a solid over of smashing Krunal Pandya, gives his wicket away trying another big shot. Suyash Sharma tries to cramps up Heinrich Klaasen, Klaasen goes for the big shot, backs himself to clean long on but doesn't get enough to clear the ropes. After the two wickets, Sunrisers Hyderabad has slowed down a bit but Heinrich Klaasen has made sure they don't fall behind by too much by spin and get squeezed. SRH will look for a partnership here and a foundation to launch. 

Out! Royal Challengers Bengaluru are making a solid comeback here. They now get the wicket of well-set Travis Head. Bhuvneshwar Kumar stuck to the back of length bowling and Head didn't get the enough of it to clear mid-off. The game is poised now. Head c Shepherd b Bhuvneshwar 17(10).
