Summary

After winning the first ODI comprehensively by seven wickets by D/L method, Team Netherlands is all set take on Zimbabwe in the second ODI at Sportpark Het Schootsveld, Deventer. The team will surely be looking to seal the two-game ODI series. Zimbabwe posted a total of 205 runs on the board and Netherlands chased the same quite easily. All thanks to Max O’Dowd who played the knock of 82 runs unbeaten with Wesley Barresi who made 39 runs for the side.

Team Zimbabwe would surely want to equalise this producing a victory. The team must be pinning hopes on the openers who could not give a good start to the team in the first game. Whereas, on the other hand, team Netherlands would be looking at their bowler to perform. In the last game, it was, Vivian Kingma who snapped five wickets.

Max O’Dowd made 82 runs from 118 balls slamming nine fours and no maximums.  Ben Cooper also did well for Netherlands as he made 35 runs from 55 balls. It would be interesting to watch what strategies would both teams adopt in order to clinch victory.
