Even the extra time ends fruitless. The game's intensity dropped in the extra time although India looked a better side than what they were looking in the second half of regulation time. Yet, no goals and nothing separate the two sides even after extra time. It is time for penalty shootout now. 

India is missing the control and the calculative passing in the midfield. Eyeing that Khalid Jamil has introduced Jeakson Singh for a tired Danish Farooq. Some crisp passing from Jeakson can help India in this moment.

Oman tried to create something at the last moment but the effort was in vain as Khalid Jamil kept shouting to his players how to keep the ball away from the danger zone. In the hand, a feeble cross from Oman players found the gloves of Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and the match ended in a draw in regulation time, moving into extra time. 

Oman tried to turn the pressure on India by keeping the ball in India's half. India has been covering well and closing down the players well. But India have failed to create counter-attack. Oman used the opportunity and took a shot on goal, but it went wide. 

After a long phase, India has got the hold of the ball. They are now controlling the midfield and releasing their wingers. Oman has their backline placed deep and it has been difficult for the Indian forwards to get in behind. 

Goal! Here is the equaliser and the lond throw strategy works again. In the first half, India created a shot on target with the throw. This time again a long throw gets a flick on from first post and Udanta Singh pounces on the rebound to score the goal. Equaliser for India and this game will go deep now. 

Oman retain control in Indi's half. Except for one or two chances India tried to create, Oman has kept the ball better, passed it better and also took shots on the goal. Indian defence has to stay alert to soak the pressure. 

Goal! There were signs Oman were going to up the tempo as they were dominating the ball in India's half from the start of the second half and they open the scoring taking the lead. A cut-back from a quick throw in, a shot at the goal and then number 10 Jamal Al-Yahmadi deflects it into the goal. India cannot soak up pressure now. They have to counter-attack. 

Vikram Partap Singh's game comes to an end as Khalid Jamil look to introduce fresh legs on the left side. That is the side India has created some chances in the first half and Khalid wants to double down that side using the pace from Jithin. 

Irfan Yadwad will be gutted. Good chance created by India from the left side and a good cross came in from the wide area. Irfan Yadwad created the space for himself but couldn't put the shot in with his left foot. The ball got sliced and an Oman defender cleared it for a corner. The corner was on the first post and ended in a goal kick. That's the end of the first half with both teams yet to score. 

Lallianzuala Chhangte has been playing really well. He created a chance from the right side, but Vikram Pratap Singh failed to get the required connection on the ball and the half-chance yielded no result for India. 

Clunsy phase of play, specially from India. Lallianzuala Chhangte tracked back well to snatch the ball away from the foot of an Oman footballer. But his long pass hit the back of Nikhil Prabhu and the loose ball dropped to an Oman footballer from which he created an opportunity. 

Big chance for Oman. Long ball in-behind the Indian defence played. Indian defenders were caught ball watching. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu comes out but doesn't make it in time, but the Oman forward tried to place the ball on Gurpreet's left side but ends up missing the goal. Danger signs for India.
