Price in India and Availability
The Redmi Note 17 5G starts at INR 27,999 for the base configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The higher-end variant, offering 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is priced at INR 30,999.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor built on a 4nm architecture. It features 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. To manage heat during intensive tasks, the phone incorporates a 10,416 sq mm graphite heat dissipation area alongside a vapor chamber cooling system.

The handset runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 out of the box, based on Android 16. Redmi has committed to four years of major OS upgrades and six years of security patches for long-term support.
For photography, the dual rear camera setup is led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, up to 2x digital zoom, and an LED flash, alongside a secondary sensor. The defining feature of the Redmi Note 17 5G is its 8,000mAh battery, which the company claims delivers up to 2.5 days of endurance on a single charge. According to Xiaomi's testing, the battery provides up to 28.29 hours of YouTube video playback, 24.14 hours of WhatsApp usage, or nearly 14 hours of continuous BGMI gameplay.
The phone supports 45W wired fast charging as well as 22.5W reverse wired charging to power other gadgets. Additional physical specs include an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, overall dimensions of 169.7 x 79.14 x 8.4 mm, and a total weight of approximately 225 grams.
