Our satellite, Moon will be seen sharing sky space closely with Jupiter and Saturn. On the night of May 21, people from UK can see Jupiter in the night sky, very close to the waning moon at about 1am BST. Jupiter will be towards the south-southeast direction of the moon. And two days later ie on May 23, one will be able to see Moon and the ring planet, Saturn very close in the night sky. Those who want to observe these planets need to be in areas with clear skies. If you have a little knowledge about observing the constellations, then Jupiter will be between the zodiacal constellations of Sagittarius and Scorpius. At this point, you can see the planet even with your naked eye. Jupiter will be the brightest star in the sky. At 1 am on May 21, Jupiter will be almost 652 million kilometres from Earth. And while it may seem that Moon and Jupiter are very close, the two will actually be far away.
