UK Man Accused of Drugging Wife, Allowing 13 Other Men To Rape Her for More Than 2 Decades
A man from the UK's Greater Manchester has pleaded guilty to multiple offences after being accused of repeatedly drugging and raping his wife over more than two decades. Prosecutors also allege that he invited other men to assault and rape her while she was unconscious between 2018 and 2025.

The man, whose identity cannot be revealed to protect the victim's anonymity, admitted to 15 offences, including five counts of rape, three counts of s*xual assault, six counts of assault by penetration and one count of sharing intimate images without consent. The identities of 13 men charged alongside him were made public after a court lifted reporting restrictions. The co-defendants face allegations including conspiracy to rape and conspiracy to assault by penetration. Ten are accused of directly participating in offences against the woman, while others allegedly encouraged the abuse online. Among them, technician Keith Fotheringham pleaded guilty to several offences and remains in custody awaiting sentencing. The remaining defendants, including a senior paramedic, football coach, taxi driver, recruiter and former football club chief executive, have denied the charges against them.
Five defendants have been granted bail, while the others remain in custody. All except Fotheringham are scheduled to stand trial at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court in September.
