Disneyland Ticket Prices May Rise in October 2026: What Visitors Should Know
Disneyland ticket prices could rise again in October 2026. Disney has not confirmed a hike, but four straight years of early October increases suggest one may be near. Here is what to expect and how to lock in current rates.
Disneyland ticket prices could go up again within weeks, with park watchers expecting Disney to roll out its annual admission revision in early October 2026. The Walt Disney Company has not officially announced any increase or confirmed a date, but a consistent four-year pattern, rising capital spending on its parks and recent comments from senior executives all point towards a fresh round of adjustments just ahead of the busy holiday travel season, affecting both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida.
Disneyland has raised prices during the first full week of October in each of the last four years, in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Each round also brought changes to multi-day tickets, parking fees and annual passes. The most recent one landed on October 8, 2025, when Disneyland and Walt Disney World both revised single-day and multi-day tickets, annual passes and the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, the paid line-skipping service.
Disneyland Ticket Prices: Where the Cheapest Tier Stands
Disney's date-based pricing model means any hike is unlikely to be spread evenly across the calendar. At Disneyland, the lowest Tier 0 single-day ticket has stayed at USD 104 since 2019. Disney has instead widened the number of days that qualify for this base price, while pushing costs up on high-demand dates. Walt Disney World Ticket Prices Also in Focus
The same approach is visible in Florida. A one-day adult ticket at Walt Disney World still starts at USD 119 on off-peak days. Peak pricing, however, keeps climbing. Booking windows released earlier this year, running through October 2027, show the top single-day price at Magic Kingdom rising from USD 209 in 2026 to USD 219 in 2027. Pricing for late 2027 has not been released yet and is expected to follow the same direction. Why Disney Keeps Raising Theme Park Prices
Disney's spending on its parks is growing. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, the company invested USD 6.78 billion in parks, resorts and related properties, up from USD 6.11 billion in the same period of 2025. Per-capita spending at its domestic theme parks also rose 5 per cent in fiscal 2025, covering tickets, food and merchandise.
Speaking at an investor conference earlier this month, Chief Financial Officer Hugh Johnston reiterated that continued investment in park infrastructure and attraction capacity remains central to justifying premium experiences and covering rising operating costs.
What Disneyland Visitors Should Do Now
Travel specialists advise anyone planning a trip for late 2026 or 2027 to buy admission early. Tickets bought through authorised channels before an official announcement stay valid at the current rate, so booking ahead could avoid a higher bill if the October hike arrives as expected.
