Preliminary reports from first responders indicate multiple mobile homes were destroyed, while strong winds knocked down trees and power lines, leaving several areas without electricity. Flying debris created dangerous conditions for residents caught in the storm’s path.

Emergency crews began door-to-door checks overnight in the hardest-hit areas. While there were no immediate reports of fatalities as of Friday morning, officials confirmed at least one injury linked to the wider storm system affecting the region.

Meteorologists warn that the severe weather outbreak across the Plains may continue, urging residents to remain alert and follow safety guidance until the threat fully passes.
