Bengaluru: Naked Man Drills Hole in Mobile Shop, Steals Phones Worth INR 25 Lakh To Shower Gifts on Girlfriend

A man in naked state committed a robbery in a mobile shop in Bengaluru to impress his girlfriend. The burglary, caught on CCTV camera, was carried out at Hanuman Telecom in Bommanahalli on May 09. To gain entry, the accused drilled a two-foot-wide hole in the shop's wall. He stole 85 mobile phones of various brands worth around INR 25 lakh before fleeing. A CCTV camera inside the shop captured the whole incident. After being alert about the robbery, the police swung into action and arrested the accused. Asked why committed the robbery in naked state, the accused reportedly told cops that he did not want to ruin his new clothes by crawling through the wall.
