The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a strongly worded statement against China’s behaviour along the Line of Actual Control that it has with India. India’s Foreign Ministry said that the PLA’s incursions are in "complete disregard of all "mutually agreed norms". The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed reports of Chinese troop build-up along contentious areas along the LAC. MEA Spokersperson Anurag Srivastava said, "Since early May, the Chinese side has been amassing a large contingent of troops and armaments along the LAC".
