TheĀ MinistryĀ ofĀ CivilĀ AviationĀ has relaxedĀ Covid-19Ā related restrictions. TheĀ ministryĀ said that cabin crew members need not wear PPE kits now. TheĀ ministryĀ also said that airlines need not keep three seats vacant on international flights for medical emergencies. The security personnel at airports can resume pat-down search of passengers now. TheĀ ministryās order dated March 21, statedĀ that the relaxation has been given to facilitate smooth conduct of air operations, reported PTI. TheĀ ministryĀ has decided to recommence scheduled international flight operations from March 27, 2022. TheĀ ministryĀ said, āThe use of face masks and maintenance of hand hygiene/sanitiser continue to be mandatory.ā India reported 1,581 newĀ Covid-19Ā cases in the last 24 hours.
