On Wednesday, October 19, the Congress party will have a new President when the counting of votes will be done. Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor are fighting for the top post in the party. While the Gandhis are not contesting, it seems their vote will go to Kharge. Shashi Tharoor tweeted saying that he had spoken to Kharge to reaffirm his respect for him and their shared devotion to the success of the party.
