On September 21, Congress and TRS workers clashed in Hyderabad. The clashes broke out after supporters of the ruling party tried to burn an effigy of A Revanth Reddy, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president. The incident took place near his house. On September 21 afternoon, TRS workers tried to stage a demonstration near the Congress leader’s residence. The police tried to stop the workers but supporters of the state Congress chief retaliated with sticks. Both the groups were seen pelting stones at each other.
