India has reported another jump in Covid-19 cases, with 1.9 lakh cases being reported on January 12. This is almost a 16% jump from the previous day wherein 1.68 lakh cases had been reported. The positivity rate i.e. number of people infected per 100 is 11.5%. The positivity rate is above 10% across 120 districts. The Omicron variant tally has gone up to 4,868 cases.
