Cyclone Bulbul claimed around 10 lives in Bengal & Odisha and rendered several homeless. The intensity of Cyclone Bulbul has now started to weaken. According to IMD, it will weaken into a low depression in a few hours. Many were reported to be injured in Bangladesh as well due to the effect of cyclone Bulbul. Flight operations in Kolkata resumed on Sunday morning and rainfall of more than 20 mm was recorded causing traffic snarls in several parts of the city.
