Ed Sheeran, popular singer-songwriter has tested positive for Covid-19. The ‘Shape of You’ star posted a statement on social media, revealing that he has contracted Covid-19. Meanwhile, on October 24, Britain reported 39, 962 new cases of the infection, less than what the country reported on October 21. The UK had recorded 52,009 Covid-19 infections and 115 new coronavirus deaths on October 21. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been urging people to get their booster shot. He tweeted, “get boosted, and get protected.” The Prime Minister’s office tweeted, “More than 5 million booster doses have been administered across the UK.” Despite the rising cases, Johnson ruled out another national lockdown.
