Haridwar: People Hurl Chairs Over Seating Arrangement During Qawwali Event

A Qawwali event in Haridwar, Uttarkhand turned into a battleground after a fight broke out over seating arrangement. Several people hurled chairs at each other. The incident took place on November 18. No injuries have been reported so far. Kamlesh Upadhyay, SP (City), Haridwar said, “We got information that a qawwali event was going on in the city. Reportedly, a fight broke out over seating arrangements. They hurled chairs at one another. The police was present on location and therefore required action was taken immediately. We are now investigating the matter. No one is injured.”
