Indian Army Has 8 COVID-19 Cases, Says Chief Gen MM Naravane, Slams Pakistan For Exporting Terror

The Indian Army on April 17 informed that there are eight positive cases of coronavirus in the Army so far. Army Chief Gen MM Naravane also informed that the COVID-19 patient in Ladakh has now recovered and has resumed duty. General MM Naravane, Chief, Indian Army said, “So far, we have only 8 positive cases in the entire Indian Army, of which 2 are doctors and 1 nursing assistant, 4 are responding well to treatment and we had one case in Ladakh, now he is fully cured and has joined duty.” He further added that personnel who have not come in contact with any infected person are being moved back to units. The Army chief also referred to the attacks by Pakistan along the LoC. He said, “While we are busy not only helping our own citizens but the rest of the world by sending medical teams and exporting medicines, on the other hand, Pakistan is only exporting terror. This doesn’t augur well.”
