Jack Dorsey, co-founder and chief executive officer of Twitter Inc, has stepped down from his position. Parag Agrawal, the chief technology officer of the company, has replaced Jack Dorsey as CEO. This decision is effective immediately. Dorsey will stay on the board of the company until his term expires in 2022. Upon his appointment as the CEO, Agrawal tweeted, “Thank you all for your trust and support.” Parag Agrawal is an IIT-Bombay graduate and PhD in computer science from Stanford University.
