Karnataka High Court On Marital Rape: ‘Marriage Not License To Unleash Brutal Beast On Wife

On March 23, the Karnataka High Court said marriage is no license to unleash a brutal beast on wife. The landmark order allowed framing of rape charges against a husband accused of forcing his wife to be a sex slave, reported NDTV. The Karnataka High Court said, “A brutal act of sexual assault on the wife, against her consent, albeit by the husband, cannot but be termed to be a rape.” Watch the video to know more.
