On December 20, a Delhi court discharged Kuldeep Singh Senger, an ex-BJP MLA in Unnao victim's accident case. Kuldeep Singh Senger was discharged by the court in the 2019 accident case of the Unnao rape victim. The court said that no charges were made out against Kuldeep Singh Senger in the matter. Kuldeep Singh Senger and five other accused were discharged by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Pandey. The court observed that prima facie there is no evidence against the accused - Awdesh Singh, Gyanendra Singh, Arun Singh, Rinku Singh, and Senger, Komal Singh. But, the court ordered framing of charges against four accused Ashish Kumar Pal, Naveen Singh, Vinod Mishra & Haripal Singh. The Delhi court said there is sufficient evidence against them.
