Two people drowned in the Bhushi dam reservoir in Lonavala on Sunday afternoon. The two deceased, both in their early 20s, were part of a 10-member group who had come for an outing and entered the waters despite warnings from local authorities. The incident took place around 2 pm on Sunday when thousands of people were visiting Lonavala and surrounding areas.
