On October 19, tensions erupted during Eid Milad-Un-Nabi procession in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. Police used batons to disperse the crowd who allegedly took out a procession without the required permissions and violated Covid-19 guidelines. Eid Milad-Un-Nabi marks Prophet Mohammed’s birthday and is celebrated by the Muslims with a lot of zeal and excitement. Videos which have gone viral on social media, show the police dispersing the crowd gathered for Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.
