Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s Chief Executive Officer, said the company will cut over 11,000 jobs in the first round of layoffs. In a statement released on November 9, the company said this reduction will be equal to nearly 13% of the workforce. The WhatsApp & Facebook owner said, “I want to take accountability for these decisions and for how we got here.
