On December 29, the financial capital of India, Mumbai recorded 2,510 cases of Covid-19. Overall recovery rate of Mumbai stands at 97 per cent. Total active cases in the city are 8060. On December 29, Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray met BMC chief Iqbal Chahal. And as the cases have been rising in Mumbai, Maharashtra government announced fresh restrictions for New Year celebrations. Meanwhile, Delhi recorded 923 Covid-19 cases on December 29.
