The festival season has begun with Navratri celebrations starting from October 7. Mysuru Dasara is set to commence on October 7. It is a highly popular tourist attraction with many people gathering to witness the grand celebrations. However, due to Covid-19, certain regulations have been imposed on various celebrations to curb the spread of the virus. This year, the Karnataka government has come up with certain guidelines for the celebration. Only 500 people will be allowed to participate in the ‘Jambu Savari’ in Mysuru. The government has also capped the number of people that can attend the special puja at the Chamundi hill. Reportedly, only 100 people are allowed during the puja to avoid crowding. People will have to follow appropriate coronavirus guidelines including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing. Watch the video to know more.
