Shireen Abu Akleh, Al Jazeera Reporter, Allegedly Killed By Israeli Forces During Raid In Jenin

On May 11, veteran Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was shot dead. The 51-year-old journalist was killed while she covered an Israeli army raid on Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, reported AFP. Al Jazeera, the Qatar-based TV channel said Israeli forces shot Abu Akleh, 51, deliberately and ‘in cold blood’, reported AFP. Another Al Jazeera journalist, Ali Samoudi, was also injured.
