Trevor Noah And Lilly Singh Talk About Farmers’ Protest On Their Shows; Brings Farm Stir Back In International Spotlight

Farmers' protest that has been going on at Delhi borders for over two months has once again managed to grab international media's focus. The farmers' protest has now featured in the latest edition of The Daily Show, popular American satirical news programme hosted by comedian Trevor Noah. An 8-minute-long clip on the farmers' protest in India was covered in The Daily Show's ‘If you don't know, now you know’ segment. The clip, as the segment name clearly indicates, is an explainer of the farmers' protest against Centre's three agricultural laws for the international audiences. Lilly Singh also discussed farmer’s protest on her show, A Little Late With Lilly Singh to discuss the issue and find out ‘what can we do as a community to help”.
