Wearing a saffron kurtaย Uddhavย tookย oathย at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. With his swearing-in ended weeks of political instability in the stateโ€™s politics.ย Thackerayย formed the government inย Maharashtraย with the help of two unlikely allies, the NCP and Congress. Six leaders tookย oathย along withย Uddhavย on Thursday.ย Sena's Eknath Shinde and Subash Desai, NCP's Jayant Patil and Chhagan Bhujbal and Conrgress's Balasaheb Thorat and Nitin Raut. After assuming office as theย chiefย ministerย ofย Maharashtra,ย Uddhavย chaired theย firstย cabinetย meeting.
