The third wave of Covid-19 pandemic sweeping India, has now laid low the country’s Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. Gadkari posted a message on Twitter about testing positive for the virus on January 11 evening. News of Gadkari’s infection comes just 24 hours after the country’s defence minister Rajnath Singh too tested positive for the virus. Among other political leaders, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar too has tested positive for the virus. Former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh too has contracted it.
