Daniil Medvedev defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets to lift the maiden grand slam title of his career. In the men's singles finals of the US Open 2021, the Russian tennis ace shocked No. 1 seed and Serbian tennis star, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. This victory also halted Novak from winning his 21st grand slam. It has definitely come as a rude shock to Djoko and his fans.
