The 22-year-old pierced into opposition's defending area and scored a fabulous goal to level the scorecard 2-2 in the 57th minute of the match.
France went on to win the match 4-3 and later defeated Croatia 4-2 to clinch their second World Cup title.
Meanwhile, Colombian footballer Juan Quintero's free-kick against Japan in their group stage clash was voted as the second best goal of the tournament and Luka Modric's strike for Croatia against Argentina was the third best. (ANI)
