New Delhi, Mar 27 (PTI) A 35-year-old cab driver was arrested for allegedly supplying illicit liquor, police said Wednesday.

Vikrant, a resident of Jhajjar district in Haryana, was arrested from northwest Delhi's Subhash Place area, they said.

According to a senior police officer, they intercepted a car which was on its way to Azadpur from Britannia Chowk.

The vehicle was carrying 10 cartons of illicit liquor which were seized, police said.

The accused was involved in a murder case of Bahadurgarh, Haryana.

During interrogation, he disclosed that he used to drive the cab in the day and supply illicit liquor at night, they added. PTI NIT

Three arrested for robbery

New Delhi, Mar 27 (PTI) The Delhi Police has arrested three men for allegedly robbing valuables from homes and stealing vehicles, police said Wednesday.

The accused were identified as Sonu Sharma (22), Rohit (21) and Ankur (20), they said.

On Tuesday, police got a tip-off and arrested the accused from south Delhi, a senior police officer said.

Two cars, two bikes, one Laptop, five mobile phone were recovered from their possession, they said. PTI NIT

Two arrested for stealing cars, mobile phones

New Delhi, Mar 27 (PTI) Two men were arrested for allegedly stealing cars and mobile phones in Dwarka, police said Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, Balraj (26) and Mohd Aadil (24) were arrested from Uttam Nagar area, a senior police officer said.

A countrymade pistol, two live cartridges, a scooter and three mobile phones were recovered from their possession, they said.
