Agartala (Tripura) [India], June 9 (ANI): Tripura police on Sunday arrested a 42-year-old accused in connection with the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council exam paper leak case.
The apprehended person was identified as Chayan Saha, police said.
A case was registered against Sayan Ghosh and Chayan Saha by the TTAADC board in the recent exam paper leak case.
Officer-in-Charge of Tripura West Police Station, Paritosh Das said, "Yesterday a case was registered by TTAADC examination board member Pradip Debbarma (TCS officer) about an examination paper leak of SDO and DPO recruitment. The exam was to be held on June 9, which was duly postponed."
"The Board chairman had given a photocopy of the answer key to a local shop of Chayan Saha. On June 8, the answer key was uploaded to various social media," Das said further.
The photocopy shop owner Chayan Saha was arrested under Section 120B, 418,420 381 of Indian Penal Code.
"The answer key was given to him by Board Chairman Data Mohan Jamatia to make a photocopy," said Tripura Wsest Police Station official.
