Chandigarh [India] June 13 (ANI): The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the removal of Chandigarh Administrator Nitin Kumar Yadav from Friday forenoon, an order from the Chandigarh Administration stated.

"In pursuance of Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs letter No. 14023/20/2024-UTS.I, dated 07.06.2024, the Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh is pleased to relieve Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS (HY:2000) from Chandigarh Administration w.e.f. 14.06.2024 (forenoon) to enable him to join his new assignment with the Government of India," the Chandigarh Administration said in an order.

This has been issued with the approval of the Administrator of Chandigarh Union Territory.

The Chandigarh Administration allocated the charge of the Union Territory to Finance Secretary Vijay Namdeorao Zade.

"Consequent upon relieving of Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS (HY:2000) from Chandigarh Administration on 14.06.2024 (forenoon), all the charges held by him will be looked after by Dr. Vijay Namdeorao Zade, IAS, Finance Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, in addition to this own duties," the Chandigarh Administration said in another order.
