New Delhi [India], October 9 (ANI): Two bike-borne thieves snatched the bag of a Hungarian national in the national capital, police said.
The incident took place on Sunday when she was on her way to her Embassy via Lodhi Road in the national capital.
The woman (57) reported the incident at Lodhi Colony police station. She was en route to her Embassy from Humayun's Tomb via Lodhi Road in an auto-rickshaw.
The incident took place at around 3 pm as soon as the auto-rickshaw reached close to Dayal Singh College. Two persons on a motorcycle drove from behind the auto-rickshaw and snatched away her bag.
Her bag contained a mobile phone, cash amounting to Rs 12,000 and her bank card. The woman could not recognise the registration number of the snatchers' vehicle, police said.
Police personnel visited the spot along with the complainant. A case has been registered into the incident under sections 356, 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The police have launched an investigation into the case to nab the culprits. (ANI)
