Thane (Maharashtra) [India], August 1 (ANI): A man and a woman got injured on Thursday when the plaster of the ceiling of a room in a house collapsed in the Diva area of Thane district.
Thane Municipal Corporation said that this incident happened at around 4.30 am in the house located at Shriganesh Chawl in the Diva area. The building has been reported to be several years old.
The people in this building were sleeping when suddenly the plaster on the ceiling fell off.
35-year-old Sharmila Santosh Shinde and 41-year-old Santosh Shinde were injured and have been admitted to a government hospital in Kalwa, where they are undergoing treatment, the official said. More updates regarding the condition of the two injured are awaited. (ANI)
