North 24 Parganas (West Bengal) [India], September 12 (ANI): Crude bombs were found in a house in Ward number 12 of Bhatpara Municipality in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Thursday.
After receiving the information, Bhatpara Police and Bomb Disposal Squad arrived at the scene and took certain security measures to dispose of the bombs.
Earlier on Thursday, a suspicious bag was found near the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital here. Dog squads and bomb disposal teams reached the spot after they received the information.
Meanwhile, a team of the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday reached the residence of the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Sandip Ghosh, at Chinar Park in Kolkata to carry out a search operation. (ANI)
