Joe Jackson Dies After Battle with Cancer

Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], June 27 (ANI): Joe Jackson, father of late American pop star Michael Jackson, passed away at the age of 89.

According to TMZ, the architect of 'Jackson 5' died following a battle with terminal cancer.

Joe was known to have paved the way for the success of son Michael Jackson and daughter Janet Jackson, along with Jackson 5.

Over the years, Joseph suffered from a variety of ailments, including dementia, strokes, and at least one heart attack.

He was also injured in a car accident a year ago.

Father of 11 children, Joe became a controversial figure when stories about his abusive behaviour as a parent were reported by media. (ANI)
