Kathmandu, Sep 21 (PTI) The possibility of using high resolution satellite images in boundary survey work was discussed Friday during a meeting of the Nepal-India boundary working group (BWG).

The three-day meeting, which concluded here today, also reviewed the outcome of the fourth meeting of BWG held in Dehradun in 2017 and observed that the guidelines issued by it were properly followed, a press release issued by the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

The Nepali delegation was led by Department of Survey Director General Ganesh Prasad Bhatta and the Indian side was led by Surveyor General Girish Kumar, it said.

The BWG is a joint body constituted by Nepal and India in 2014 to carry out works in the fields of construction, restoration and repair of boundary pillars, including clearance of no-man's land and other technical tasks.
