RTI Activist Found Dead in Pune, Two Held
Two persons were arrested after a 32-year-old RTI activist Vinayak Shirsath was found dead here, a police official said on Tuesday
Pune (Maharashtra), [India], Feb 12 (ANI): Two persons were arrested after a 32-year-old RTI activist Vinayak Shirsath was found dead here, a police official said on Tuesday.According to police, the builder cum RTI activist's body was found in decomposed status near Tamini Ghat area of the city.Shirsath, a resident of Pune, went missing on January 30, following which, his family members filed a complaint.The body has been sent for a post mortem and a case has been registered under Indian Penal Code sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence).Further investigation is underway.
