Chandigarh, Aug 6 (PTI) In another setback for the Indian National Lok Dal ahead of the Haryana Assembly polls, two more party MLAs joined the ruling BJP on Tuesday.

Expelled BSP MLA Tek Chand Sharma and Independent legislator Ravinder Machhrouli also joined the BJP.

INLD legislators who joined the BJP are Nagender Bhadana and Makhan Lal Singla.

They joined the saffron party in the presence of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and BJP chief Subhash Barala, an official statement said.

Khattar said the joining of these leaders would further strengthen the BJP at the grassroots level.

Barala said all the leaders have joined the BJP "unconditionally".

Tek Chand represents the Prithla assembly segment, Machhrouli Samalakha, Bhadana Faridabad NIT and Singla is an MLA from Sirsa.

On Monday, two INLD MLAs besides one Independent legislator joined the BJP.

INLD's Ram Chander Kamboj, an MLA from Rania assembly segment in Sirsa district, who had recently resigned from the party, and Naseem Ahmed, a legislator from Firozpur Jhirka, had joined the BJP fold.

Independent MLA from Saffidon Jasbir Deswal, who has been supporting the BJP, too joined the party fold.
