2027 Kawasaki KLX230 Specifications and Features

All three models in the 2027 KLX230 range—the standard KLX230, the new KLX230 S, and the off-road-focused KLX230R S—are powered by a 233 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. In contrast, the standard KLX230 features an 880 mm seat height, 220 mm front and 223 mm rear suspension travel, and 255 mm of ground clearance. The hardcore KLX230R S is strictly for off-road use, omitting road-legal components like headlamps and turn indicators, and features a 900 mm seat height with 270 mm of ground clearance.

The KLX230R S is priced at Rs 1.89 lakh, while both the standard KLX230 and the KLX230 S are priced at Rs 2.19 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries for the KLX230R S are scheduled to begin in mid-August 2026, followed by the KLX230 and KLX230 S in mid-September 2026.
