The upcoming motorcycle is designed to bridge the substantial gap in the manufacturer's lineup between the entry-level F 450 GS and the larger F 900 GS.

The new model aims to target the popular middleweight adventure category to compete directly against established market contenders. The test mule adopts a steel bridge frame and braking system derived from the larger F 900 GS, while utilizing a rear shock and swingarm layout similar to the F 450 GS. For rough terrain handling, it rolls on a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear tubeless wire-spoke wheel setup.
