Finally!! The Day is here. BMW Motorrad will be launching the much awaited G 310 R and G 310 GS motorcycles in the country today.
BMW Motorrad is all set for the launch of two most-affordable motorcycles in the country today. The motorcycles from the German marque were showcased at Auto Expo 2018 earlier this year. Moreover, the company has already initiated the pre-bookings for the motorcycles with token amount of Rs. 50,000 in June this year. Also, the motorcycles have started arriving at the dealerships ahead of the launch. The deliveries for the bikes are expected to commence later this year, around November.
On the pricing front, the company will be focusing to tap the segment with a correct point to attract the buyers, which is possible only by a competitive price tag. Considering the level of competition already in the market, the BMW G 310 R motorcycle could be priced under Rs. 3 lakh bracket. On the other hand, the BMW G 310 GS motorcycle is expected to be priced slightly above 3 lakh. (All Prices Ex-showroom). As far as the competition is concerned, the BMW G 310 R will compete against KTM 390 Duke, Mahindra Mojo XT 300, Bajaj Dominar 400 in the naked street category while BMW G 310 GS will be pitted against Kawasaki Versys-X 300 and Royal Enfield Himalayan.
