New Delhi, April 16: The fire that engulfed the medieval Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris has been brought under control. Firefighters, who battled the devastating blaze at Notre-Dame for hours, partially extinguished it saving the main structure of the Gothic cathedral from total destruction. "The fire is completely under control. It is partially extinguished, there are residual fires to put out," news agency AFP quoted fire officials as saying. The United States military confirmed that it has killed the second-ranking ISIS leader Abdulhakim Dhuqub in Somalia in an air strike. "As second in command of ISIS-Somalia, Dhuqub was responsible for the daily operations of the extremist group, attack planning, and resource procurement," US Africa Command said in a statement.
